January is one of the slow months for the tourism season in the Texas Hill Country. Somedays is can be cold, somedays is can by 75 and gorgeous. On the nice days it beats a hot summer day for most outdoor activities. We still have a few weeks of late season hunting available, and the rainbow trout fishing can also be active. Go carts are back open at Circuit of the Americas. Live stock shows pop up in many of the small towns deep in the hill country. The 12th Annual Blues Festival in Luckenbach Texas is one of the very cool events to attend in January. The other possible event we might check out is The Kerrville Renaissance Fest Jan 25-27. Last but not least a road trip to see the cowboy show in Bandera.
