The Texas Hill Country is home to over 50 vineyards and continues to grow in popularity and prestige as vineyards, breweries, and distillers spring up at an incredible rate. Fredericksburg is the heart of the Hill Country vineyard scene, with a handful of tasting rooms located in the downtown area, and many of the vineyards located close. Fredericksburg is not the only destination for the wine lovers in the Texas Hill Country. Other towns with quality vineyards include Marble Falls, Johnson City, Dripping Springs, Wiberly and New Braunfels among others
The Texas Wine Collective located in Fredericksburg Texas hosts many events throughout the year, including wine trails, events at its headquarters, and a wide range of live music. Many of the events feature wines paired with great food, typically with some sort of theme. Most of the events require reservations or tickets purchased online before the day of the event. The events frequently sell out, and the ticket sales start at a specific time as notes on the website.

Limo and Bus Trips to the Texas Hill Country Vineyards
Many visitors from Austin and San Antonio like to rent out limos and party buses for day trips into the Texas Hill Country. It’s one of the best ways to experience vineyard hopping if it’s in your budget. If you can get a small group of people together the cost can be not that bad, especially for a larger group on a party bus. During many of the big events in Austin and San Antonio it can be tough to rent a limo or party bus.
